Privacy Policy

We collect what the marketplace needs to work and nothing sneaky: your account email, what you post, and how jobs move through their lifecycle. No ads, no selling your data, no third-party tracking. Payments happen off-platform, so we never see payment details. We don't collect phone numbers today.

• Account: your email address and name, managed by our sign-in provider (Clerk) with email verification.
• Profile: the display name, bio, preferred area, and search radius you choose to set. Your email is never shown on your public profile.
• Marketplace activity: jobs you post (title, description, price, area, optional location note), applications and their optional messages, reviews, reports you file, and the lifecycle history of your jobs (assigned, started, completed, confirmed).
• Product analytics: first-party, server-side event records of marketplace actions (e.g. "job posted", "application submitted"). We don't track page views, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising tools.
• Safety records: reports, moderation decisions, and an audit log of admin actions, kept to run a safe marketplace.

We do not collect: phone numbers, payment information, precise location (only the coarse neighborhood areas you pick), or anything from data brokers.

• Running the marketplace: matching, notifications, reputation computed from real completed jobs.
• Notifications: in-app notifications for lifecycle events, and the same events by transactional email. There is no marketing email.
• Safety: screening job posts at creation, reviewing reports, enforcing suspensions.
• Improving the product: aggregate metrics like weekly fulfilled jobs.

• Other users: your display name, bio, computed reputation, published reviews, and your public job posts. Never your email.
• Service providers (processors): Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email delivery). They process data to run the service, not for their own purposes.
• Law enforcement: we preserve safety-relevant records and comply with valid legal process, per our incident procedures.
• We do not sell personal data. Ever.

Marketplace records (jobs, reviews, reports, audit logs) are kept because reputation and safety depend on history. You can edit your profile at any time. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact the team through the beta contact channel — we'll honor it, preserving only what safety or legal obligations require us to keep.

Only the session cookies our sign-in provider needs to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

IWM is for adults 18+. We don't knowingly collect information from minors; accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

As beta features ship (for example phone verification is planned but not live today), this policy will be updated before the data is collected. Questions: the in-app report system or your beta contact channel. See also the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
